Eclectic Indie Rock With Depth, Energy, and a Just a Little Bit of Chaos.

Turn It Up. Sing It Loud.

Oh, so you’re done with lifeless, cookie-cutter, corporate-approved noise? You want real music? Not that algorithm-approved, factory-farmed, soulless drivel polluting the airwaves? Something that hits harder than the first time you heard "Bohemian Rhapsody"? Well, buckle up, because this isn’t just music. It’s raw, it’s unapologetic, it’s emotion cranked up to eleven. A sound that doesn’t just break the mold—it obliterates it. Even Pandora wouldn’t dare put it in her box. If you’re here for safe, predictable, pre-packaged fluff, you might wanna run. Because, "You can’t handle the truth!" But if you’re ready to wake up, Neo, welcome to music with soul. We don’t toe the line, follow the corporate path, because "Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads." It’s time to scream, dance, cry, and come ALIVE… because the world has enough plastic.

Before marks the first chapter in Sondra’s Sister’s sonic evolution. Written by Ray between the ages of 15 and 19, the album captures the early stages of her creative development and the foundation of the band’s signature sound.

Each track showcases the experimentation that defines Sondra’s Sister—unexpected genre turns, textured harmonies, and a balance between raw edge and polished emotion. Working alongside co-founder and producer Nick Rose, Ray shaped these songs into something timeless: music that nods to its influences while carving out something unmistakably its own.

From funk-infused grooves to shimmering indie pop moments, Before bridges past and present—a record that celebrates discovery, collaboration, and the spark that started it all.

About Sondra's Sister

Hey, I’m Ray. Musician, songwriter, and the chaotic engine behind Sondra’s Sister. I’m equal parts creative hurricane and meticulous overthinker. My life is a mash-up of music, numbers (yeah, I’m an accounting major), and the kind of DIY projects that require actual power tools.

I’ve always been drawn to storytelling, whether through lyrics, film, or those weird 2 AM thoughts that turn into song ideas. My brain never slows down, constantly making connections no one else would think of. I probably speak in movie quotes more than actual conversation, and if you’ve ever caught me staring off into space, I’m either writing a song in my head or internally debating a plot hole in a TV show.

I like harmonies, stories, and people who embrace their weird. That’s why I create, to build something that makes the world feel a little less lonely... something that makes me feel a little less lonely.

Also, if you ever need a random fact, a perfectly timed pop culture reference, or someone to go all-in on a spontaneous adventure, I’m your person. Let’s make some noise.
